*If we notice anything in the mix file(s) that may potentially be an issue for the overall sound, we will contact you and work together for the absolute best results.*

Online Mixing

We accept Pro Tools session files or multi-tracks (i.e. kick, snare, overheads, guitars, bass, vocals etc. all separated as individual WAV files) only. Any sessions from Logic, Cubase, Ableton etc. will require that you export all tracks as multi-tracks. Please follow the instructions below.

Instructions for exporting/uploading Pro Tools sessions:

1. Make a new folder (remember the location of this folder)

2. Open the Pro Tools session

3. Click File/Save Copy In

4. Under 'Session Parameters' make sure the Audio File Type, Sample Rate, and Bit Depth all match the settings of the original session

5. Under 'Items To Copy' check the box next to Audio Files

6. Click OK

7. Set the save location as the folder created in step 1

8. Click Save

9. Repeat steps 2-8 for each session, saving them all to the folder created in step 1

10. Create a compressed ZIP file from the folder created in step 1 (This will NOT degrade quality. Trust us!)

PC: Right click the folder, go to 'Send To' and select 'Compressed (zipped) folder'

MAC: Right click the folder and select 'Compress Items'

*The ZIP file will be automatically stored in the same directory as the original folder*

11. Upload the compressed ZIP file using File Upload below

Instructions for exporting/uploading tracks as multi-tracks:

1. Make a new folder (remember the location of this folder)

2. Make a new sub-folder for each song/session inside the folder created in step 1

3. Open your session

4. Create fades/cross-fades for all audio cuts, slices, and joints if you haven't already done so (consult with your DAW developer for instruction on fades/cross-fades)

5. Consolidate all audio on every track as a group from beginning to end so that all the audio on every track in the session starts and ends at the exact same time e.g. track 1, 2, 3 etc. all start at exactly the beginning of the session, bar 1 beat 1 or 0.00 secs (consult with your DAW developer for instruction on consolidating)

*Your DAW may automatically consolidate upon exporting/rendering in the next step. The idea is just to have each file start & end at the same time, so when we import       all the audio, everything plays back at the correct timing in context of the song.*

6. Export/render every individual consolidated audio file to its respective session sub-folder created in step 2 (consult with your DAW developer for instruction on exporting/rendering)

*Make sure exported audio files have the same File Type, Sample Rate, and Bit Depth as the original file*

7. Repeat steps 3-6 for each song/session

9. Upload the compressed ZIP file using File Upload below
